Our Mission

Implementing a solution to medical space crisis with a swift alternative by utilizing customized shipping containers for emergent needs in order to help communities that require disaster relief, recovery assistance, and long term care.

Current Project

Percy Junor Hospital serves four parishes by providing emergent care for 40,000 patients per year. Their medical services also include: surgery, radiology, pediatrics, maternity care, and outpatient clinic. Their pharmacy averages 100,000 prescriptions annually. However, this hospital is only 3,400 square feet and is in desperate need of more space. At Sheep Mission, our current project is to provide two medical facilities made of shipping containers which will give nearly 1,000 additional square feet. These containers will provide a designated space for an emergency room and an office for medical records.

Funding

100% of the Jamaica Project proceeds will go towards Percy Jr Hospital.

Impact

Percy Junor Hospital serves a population of approximately 300,000 people in the Parishes of Manchester, Clarendon, St. Ann and Trelawny.
